email verification issues on ios

Hi, I have enabled 'email verification' from console but I am not recieving any verification mail for the user. I have confirm that the email id is set for users. I tried logout the user and tried to login again but didn't work. Also I get 'missing parameter' error while sign up process. This workflow is too confusing. Can someone me on this problem?

Can you try ""Reset Content and Settings..." on simulator and try running the app again? If you have enabled all the "Email Verification" options on console and made "Email" field mandatory while signup then everything should work fine.

  1. You mentioned "I tried logout the user and tried to login again but didn't work". What error are you getting?
  2. Was that user created before enabling email verification. If yes, then you will have to enable "Always allow access to users created before:" in console settings.

Once you enable "Email Verification", you will need three parameters for signup - email, username and password. Username and email fields can be identical. "email" field will be mandatory.

"pranav, thanks for your prompt response. I got some error like "account creation failed". Yes, the user was created before implementing email verification. I have enabled "Always allow access.." in console. I will test it on my end and let you know asap."

I tried some testing today. The app is crashing with unknown error if I try to login on simulator.

I did reset simulator and all options are enabled for mail verification. Didn't get any issue while login for old user. signup is also working fine after making 'email' field mandatory. Thanks for all the help!
