I'm try to understand if 30 requests per second will work for my app. Do you or an engineer there have any familiarity with how “normal" peak requests per second map to, say, monthly requests. For instance, if I were doing 50 million API requests per month, that averages to 20 request per second but I’d guess that reasonable peaks would be over 100 request / second. I realize this is a terribly inexact science. Have you any experience on this with other apps?

We're delving in a bit further on this topic, but it will take a little time to get an answer composed, just to give a heads up.
