Today, July 24th, we have been experiencing latency issues, first reported at around 11:30 am EST. Latency of up to 25 seconds was being recorded by our DevOps team, which was causing timeouts for applications on the Kinvey service. While we are still investigating root cause, we've discovered the issue causing the performance degradation. We've managed to reduce this to 5 seconds and we are working to reduce it even further.

We've managed to reduce the response time to an average of 200 milliseconds, which is on par with normal, so apps should be performing as expected.

Starting around 11:30am, our engineering team has been dealing with operational issues that may be causing degraded application performance.
